PT Lab involved in “New Approaches in Treatment and Prevention of Neonatal Infections” seminar at An Giang Provincial General Hospital

On March 29th, An Giang Provincial General Hospital (located in Chau Doc) collaborated with the Children’s Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a seminar on emergency care and neonatal intensive care. The theme of the seminar was “New Approaches in Treatment and Prevention of Neonatal Infections.”

During the seminar, delegates explored various topics, including:

  • Treating septic shock in newborns
  • Preventing and treating hypothermia in newborns
  • Controlling infections in premature infants
  • The importance of neonatal intensive care and related protocols

Additionally, doctors from the Children’s Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City conducted surveys and exchanged expertise with physicians and healthcare staff from the An Giang Provincial General Hospital regarding emergency treatment, neonatal intensive care, and infection control in the process of caring for newborns.

Dr. Ho Tan Thanh Binh (HCM Children’Hospital) presented the topic “Treating septic shock in newborns”.
